International House Tampere Will Open Its Doors in 2021

International House Tampere brings together the educational and work-related immigration, multilingual counselling, education and skills development and international recruitment services in Tampere. The collaboration partners in the International House Tampere are the City of Tampere’s Employment and Growth Services Multilingual Info Centre Mainio and International HUB Tampere, Tampere Vocational College Tredu, Tampere University community and Local Employment and Economic Development Offices (TE Offices).

International House Tampere will open its doors in early 2021 in the heart of Tampere, at Rautatienkatu 10, 1st floor. Customers are served with a multi-service model (hybrid), so that the services are available both remotely, by telephone and e-mail, and by appointment in the House – as the pandemic situation allows.

Holistic service for international customers in the Tampere region

The House will operate on a one-stop-shop basis, from which both individual customers who have moved or are moving to the country and companies interested in international recruitment will receive service.

In the first phase, House’s centralized services will be Mainio’s multilingual counselling and initial assessments, as well as Tredu’s professional career guidance and education path services. The university community provides guidance and counselling towards higher education studies and the Study & Stay service model. Cooperation is also done in Hidden Gems spouse services. The services of the House’s partnership model support international customers moving to and settling in Tampere, job searcheducation and integration.

For companies, House offers an international expertise and recruitment advisory service. The TE Office’s international recruitment services in Finland and abroad are also available, as well as the opportunity to utilize recruitment and labour market training to support recruitment. The opening of International House Tampere promotes Tampere’s attractiveness as an international destination for study, work and investment.

The operations and services of the new partnership model are planned and developed according to the needs of the customers. You can follow the start of the House’s operations on International Tampere some channels.
